Born in 1985 in Rymarov, Stepanka lives and works in Prague. She graduated in 2009 from the university of Tomas Bata in Zlin, faculty of chemical technology, and was working several years in the laboratories of micro biology and farmacy.
2013
marks the beginning of her involvement into photography. Mainly as a
photographer but as well
as exhibitions planner. Her studio in the industrial area of Prague
allowed her to organize various photographic events and arts
experiments. Stepanka
became at that time member of the Prague Art Studios Pragovka.
Her inspiration is coming from people's emotions and behaviors. She likes to express in black and white the manifestations and influences of the past onto the present. She is cultivating a particular taste for boats and ships.

This is indeed a unique project. It is a "microcosm" of the world, a
model of creative determination, and a remarkable, private initiative
with a very public face. As an ambitious, omnivorous collection offering
"snapshots" of the artistic pulse in as many countries as logistically
possible, Imago Mundi is motivated and driven by real human
relationships.
