She was born in 1985 in Rýmařov in northern Moravia and lives and works in Prague. She graduated in 2009 from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Faculty of Chemical Technology and worked for several years in microbiology and pharmacy laboratories in a research team.

She has always loved photography and in 2013 she started to focus on classical photography. Mainly as a photographer she documented events and events at Pragovka. She also worked in a gallery. Her studio in the industrial zone of Prague allowed her to participate in these activities. Štěpánka became a member of Art Studios Pragovka. She takes photos and works as an office manager in an advertising agency that promotes and highlights corporate and personal challenges as its knowhow.

Her inspiration comes from the expression of people's emotions and their behaviour. She likes to express in black and white the manifestations and influences of the past on the present. She has a special fondness for boats. She admires diverse human enthusiasm and much of her work deals with grouping things and different materials.

Chemically and physically, this can be put into words:

The arrangement of particles manifests itself in typical properties. Grouping is closely related to internal energy; changes in internal energy can lead to changes in grouping.

tisk na plátno, 10x12

This is indeed a unique project. It is a "microcosm" of the world, a model of creative determination, and a remarkable, private initiative with a very public face. As an ambitious, omnivorous collection offering "snapshots" of the artistic pulse in as many countries as logistically possible, Imago Mundi is motivated and driven by real human relationships.
